Amy Winehouse funeral expected today

The body of Amy Winehouse will undergo an autopsy today. Results may not be known for a month. Amy will be buried today or tomorrow, as per Jewish tradition.

Amy's father Mitch was in New York with her manager Raye Cosbert when he heard the news. He flew home immediately.

The family has released the following statement:

'Our family has been left bereft by the loss of Amy, a wonderful daughter, sister, niece. She leaves a gaping hole in our lives. We are coming together to remember her and we would appreciate some privacy and space at this terrible time.'
