Paramore will release a brand new track next month, for the first time since the departure of founding members Josh and Zac Farro at the end of 2010.
According to Stereoboard, their track "Monster" will premiere on the forthcoming "Transformers : Dark Of The Moon" soundtrack in June, which will also feature tracks from My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, Mastondon and Linkin Park.
Speaking on their website, the band said "By now everyone knows that Paramore has been hard at work in the studio over the past few months, working on new material. We are very excited to announce that Paramore will have a new song on the soundtrack for 'Transformers : Dark Of The Moon'."
This isn’t the first time the band have contributed to a film, having previously contributed their song’ Decode to the Twilight soundtrack.
The band are recording the full-length followup to their 2009 album "Brand New Eyes" with Rob Cavallo in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, former drummer Zac Farro has since started his own band "Tunnels."
